Customise your rug

Have you always wondered how we use our FELICE rug modules and put together the most diverse combinations? Now it’s time for you to try it out yourself and get inventive. Draw.io allows you to digitally 'put your individual wishes down on paper'. It's easy to use and you can download it for free to your computer or use it online in your browser.

In this article, we have created a guide to the tool for you and show you in a video how we put together a colourful wool rug. To get you started, we have provided you with a download link to the tool, as well as our libraries with the different rug patterns and weaves. So, nothing stands in the way of your creativity and in the end, you can simply contact us or order the rug of your dreams.

Import library

After opening the programme, it is necessary to import the libraries with the carpet pictures. To do this, click on "File", "Open library" and then select the weave and open the file. Repeat this process for all other weaves. At the end you should see eight libraries in the sidebar.

After all libraries have been imported, you will see all web types in the left sidebar and can open and close them with the arrows. Basically, you don't need any additional functions or tools and can start configuring immediately. But first we will explain the different module sizes.

Module sizes 1-5

Here you can see the module sizes 1-5, which can be selected for each weave. Module 1 is therefore larger than the other modules, as you can easily see the weaving pattern from this module. The carpet dimensions of the modules shown here are as follows:

• Module 1 65 x 65 cm
• Module 2 65 x 130 cm
• Module 3 130 x 130 cm
• Module 4 65 x 195 cm
• Module 5 65 x 260 cm

Module sizes 6-9

This picture shows the modules 6-9. You can also use these individually as a rug or extend them further with our FELICE modular system. The dimensions of these modules are:

• Module 6 195 x 195 cm
• Module 7 65 x 260 cm
• Module 8 130 x 260 cm
• Module 9 195 x 260 cm

Module selection

Once you have decided on a weave and colour, click on the desired module, and it will appear in the drawing sheet. Now you can move, enlarge and reduce it as you like. Place several next to each other to check the colour coordination.

Example configuration

We decided on this configuration and used the following weaves and modules.

M1 Salix Cappuccino, M5 Ribes Grass, M7 Salix Beech

As you can see, you can combine all modules as you like.

Export

You can then save and export your design and order your desired rug directly from us, or contact us again for any open questions.

To export the file, select "File", "Export as" and "JPG".
